The iPhone voice and the browser’s own voice are free. They do not need an account, and the app has no ads. Pasted text can be read with that voice on the device.
Read This Premium is an auto-renewable monthly subscription. It lets you listen with Kokoro for a long day, about one book, and with Grok for a shorter stretch. Links and files prepared by riri.ink are included. Both allowances reset at midnight UTC. The service is not unlimited: a day that uses the whole allowance stops until the reset, and it does not charge you again that day.
On the website the price is £5 per month, paid to Intellectio Ltd through Stripe. It starts when Stripe confirms the payment and renews until you cancel at riri.ink/read. On the iPhone App Store and TestFlight the price is the price shown by the App Store, billed by Apple to your Apple ID. It renews each month until you cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions at least a day before the period ends. The title of the subscription is Read This Premium and the length is one month. A direct install of the iPhone app uses the website checkout instead of the App Store.
The period you have already paid for is not refunded by Intellectio Ltd. Apple’s refund rules apply to an App Store purchase. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the App Store app.
You need the right to the text you submit. Read This makes audio when you ask and does not publish it. The privacy note says what stays on the device and what is sent to riri.ink.
